Castlegar Search and Rescue

Members of Castlegar SAR spent Thursday and Friday (May 17-18) in Grand Forks searching for Karen Kyle, who had been reported missing Wednesday morning. Along with members from the Nelson, Creston, Rossland, New Denver, Oliver/Osoyoos, Central Okanagan, and of course Grand Forks Search and Rescue groups, we worked with the RCMP, Civil Air Search and Rescue (CASARA), and the US Border Patrol to comb the area.

She was able to find her way home and spent the past few days in the woods near her home.
